The antioxidant activity of the plant extract was measured in terms of radical scavenging ability, according to the DPPH method. The free radical scavenging activity of methanolic, aqueous and chloroform extract of Convolvulus pluricaulis plant increased with increase in concentration and was found to be 84, 83 and 48 % respectively against 93% of ascorbic acid. The present study provides evidence that the methanolic and chloroform extract of Convolvus plauricalis is a potential source of natural antioxidants.
